My name is Mike, and I record and release indie music as
Man Lost in the Sky when the phase of the moon is right.
My music is mainly Americana Adventure-Folk Story songs that focus on escapism, adventure, folklore, and myth. "Fenlo" is an old family nickname, and some people know me by that also.

"A very enjoyable album. The modern driven folky guitar and Dylan/Cohen inspired vocals are essential hearing for folk and music fans in general. A talented musician and singer who produced his original album too. A must listen!"

"The songs, and especially the guitar, have a great groove to them. The lyrics are catchy and unique, avoiding common cliches with skill and grace. I'll be putting this album on repeat!" -Daniel S. Ziegler (Facebook listener)
"Honest story songs from a haunted place." -E is for everywhere (Instagram listener)
"For me, lyrics matter most. No story, no interest. Hemingway comes to mind as I listen to Man Lost in the Sky’s latest release….he can dig into his past, or make a story out of thin air, and you’d never know the difference. There’s a name for this talent: Wordsmith. Some of my favorites are Covered Bridge (great chord progression makes you anticipate the lyric, and stunning lyrics that take you back to his childhood), Panama City Beach (classic love song with universal appeal), High Tide, Low Rent is an Anthem song to be sung by 1000’s of people in a stadium, but for me, the Grammy goes to Star Shaped Box….deeply personal, my favorite cut." -Joe Ballano (Facebook listener)
